Mild weather is expected for this weekend; temperatures up to 20 degrees
The coming days will be exceptionally mild autumn weather, Weeronline reported. The temperature will rise to 16 degrees Celsius in the north, 18 degrees in the middle, and 20 degrees in the south on Saturday. "That will keep it (exceptionally) mild, and it will be wonderful weather for a forest walk in the increasingly colorful nature."
The mild October weather will already show on Friday with periods of sunshine, a small chance of rain, and “clear skies” in the evening and night.
On Saturday, the sun will quickly shine through the “quite high clouds," and temperatures will rise. Only the Wadden islands and along the north coast will experience some colder weather with temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees.
The sun will shine for most of the day on Sunday, but there will also be cloudy weather. The temperature will be 15 in the north and 17 degrees Celsius in the south on the first day in the winter time, which is when the clocks go back one hour in the night of Saturday leading into Sunday.
Calm autumn weather will follow the weekend, Weeronline added. “That is good news for everybody who has autumn school break,” the weather service said. The first days of the week will see temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees, with it cooling down from Wednesday to 13 to 16 degrees.
The autumn school holidays start this weekend for the middle and northern regions of the country, and they end for the south.
