Violent home invasion in Hoofddorp, two perpetrators on the run
A violent break-in took place at a house on Hammarskjöldstraat in Hoofddorp on Saturday night, during which two residents were pushed, beaten, and held down. The unknown perpetrators left the house with “several goods”, according to the police.
At 4:30 a.m., the police received a report that two men had entered the house in Hammarskjöldstraße. According to the police, one of the residents had been chased into the street shortly beforehand, after which the two perpetrators had gained access to the house.
Inside the house, one resident was pushed and beaten up. The other resident was pushed and held down. After stealing some loot, about which no further details were given, the perpetrators fled. The victims did not need to go to hospital for treatment.
The police are searching for the perpetrators, who are still on the run. They are about 20 years old and wear black clothes and black shoes. The police are looking for witnesses and people who may have made video footage.
