Taxiing planes collide at Schiphol

Two planes collided while taxiing at Schiphol airport on Wednesday morning. No one was injured in the incident.

Both planes belong to Dutch airline KLM and at least one was damaged, as can be seen on a photo shared on Twitter. The Dutch airline was unable to comment to newspaper AD about the cause of the accident or the extent of the damage. "The planes are carefully checked and therefore remain on the ground for the time being", a spokesperson said to the newspaper.

Both planes were about to depart to destinations in the United States, Los Angeles and Atlanta, when the accident happened. Affected passengers are being booked onto other flights.
