Explosion in Delft home

There was an explosion in a home in Delft at around 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The residents were unharmed and given shelter elsewhere, according to Omroep West.

Photos from the scene show that the door of the home on Nassauplein was damaged in the blast. The cause of the explosion is not yet clear.

The police cordoned off the area and called in explosive experts to investigate.

In een woning in Delft is vannacht rond 02.00 uur een ontploffing geweest, meldt de politie. Op beelden is te zien dat de voordeur van het pand beschadigd is.
