Cryptocurrency NEO founder to speak at Amsterdam event

Da Hongfei, founder of NEO - currently one of the top cryptocurrencies in the world, will be speaking at a NEO loves Amsterdam event at the DeLaMar theater in Amsterdam this weekend.

The event will host several speakers, including Da Hongfei himself. They will discuss the latest projects, developments and token sales launching on the NEO Blockchain.

NEO describes itself as a "non-profit community-based blockchain project that utilizes blockchain technology and digital identity to digitize assets, to automate the management of digital assets using smart contracts, and to realize a 'smart economy' with a distributed network'. Several analysts tell NL Times that NEO could be among the blockchain projects to have the most impact on the digital currency world in 2018 and 2019.

"Neo is indirectly influencing people. They have such a unique approach and are already answering questions about blockchain even before they're asked.", Tim Gick, CEO of Spotcoin, one of the participants in the NEO loves Amsterdam event, said to NL Times.

Spotcoin is a private digital currency exchange that changes cryptocurrency into fiat currencies in one business day. The company is launching an ICO using NEO's blockchain on May 1st. The Georgian company has an office in Amsterdam and is looking to expand the business with a $30 million ICO.
