Family pleads for information about woman missing in Amsterdam

Teresa Diaz Nerio went missing in Amsterdam on January 17th. Her family is desperate to find her and is pleading on social media for information about the 35-year-old woman's whereabouts.

Teresa has a slender posture, brown eyes and shoulder length, curly, dark colored hair, according to the police. She speaks Spanish and English, and can understand Dutch.

According to her family on Facebook, the last surveillance camera footage of Teresa shows her walking alone near Kloverniersburgwal at 10:48 p.m. on January 17th. She was wearing a short light gray coat, black trousers, a burgundy bonnet, purple ankle boots and a colorful scarf. She was carrying a dark brown leather backpack and a bag with red and white stripes on her shoulder.

The police and the woman's family call on anyone who saw Theresa after 10:48 p.m. on Friday, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to contact the Amsterdam police.
