Abandoned child found on Amsterdam Central Station

On Sunday afternoon the police found a little boy abandoned on Amsterdam Central Station. The boy is four or five years old, and the police are still having trouble finding out who he is, where he's from and who his parents are. Surveillance camera footage show that he was with a woman. The police are looking for this woman.

According to the police, the boy is healthy and currently living with a foster family. So far no one reported him missing. It is unclear what country the child is from.

The police released screenshots from the surveillance camera footage in an effort to find the woman who left the child at the station, or possibly identify his parents. To protect the boy's privacy, his face was blurred out on the images.

The police call on anyone with information that can help find this boy's family, to come forward.
