Teens arrested for stealing tea, biscuits in Nijmegen burglary

A 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old woman were arrested on Saturday for breaking into a building on Elzenstraat in Nijmegen and stealing biscuits, tea and detergent, the police said in a statement.

The police responded to the building around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday after reports of a break in. At the scene they found the two teenagers sitting in a car.

Also in the car were biscuits, tea and detergent, among other things. After checking the building, the police concluded that the items in the car were taken from the building.

The two were arrested and taken to a police station for questioning.
