3FM Glass House headed to Apeldoorn next year

The 3FM Glass House Serious Request action will be in Apeldoorn next year. DJ Michiel Veenstra spoke with Apeldoorn Mayor John Berends on Thursday, who said that the radio station is "incredibly welcome" in his city, the Telegraaf reports Next year will be the 14th edition of the Serious Request fundraising campaign and the first time it is happening in Gelderland. This year 3FM DJ's will lock themselves in a glass house in Breda. From December 18th to 24th the DJ's will pay music from the glass house 24 hours a day to raise money for a cause. This year's cause is the "silent disaster" - children dying from pneumonia. Which DJ's will be locked into the glass house will be revealed next month. Last year the Glass House was in Heerlen. During the week before Christmas over 8.4 million euros was raised for children and young people in conflict zones.
