MH17: Dutch criminal investigation results ready Sept. 28

The Joint Investigation Team working on the criminal investigation into the downing of flight MH17 in the Ukraine in 2014, will release the first results of the investigation on September 28th, RTL Nieuws reports. The JIT, headed by the Dutch Pubic Prosecutor, will make the results known in a meeting which can also be attended by relatives of the victims. A press conference will be held after the meeting. According to investigation leader Wim de Bruin, results released will include exactly what type of weapon was used and from where it was fired. Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine on July 17th, 2014. All 298 people on board were killed, including 196 Dutch. Last year the Dutch Safety Board concluded that flight MH17 was shot down by a BUK missile.
