Food warning: Pieces of plastic in Emte and Sligro bread

There may be pieces of hard plastic in fresh breads, pastries and granola buns of the Lambert en Trommelen brand, sold at wholesaler Sligro and supermarket Emte, the Dutch food safety authority NVWA warns, ANP reports. This warning covers all Lambert and Trommelen products on which wholemeal flour is a listed ingredient, which were sold on Monday, August 15th. Sligro and Emte call on consumers who already ate any of these products to contact their doctor. Consumers are warned not to eat the products, but to return them to the store for a full refund.
