Queen Máxima celebrates 45th birthday

Queen Maxima turns 45 years old today. The government is celebrating by hanging the Dutch flag on the main government buildings. Individuals who wish to congratulate her, can also hang the flag with pennant, AD reports. Unlike her husband, Queen Maxima does not get a public holiday for her birthday. She is having a normal work day. This includes opening the World Forum in The Hague an the first anniversary congress of the Pension Federation.
