One day in prison for sex with pimped teen girl

The court in Maastricht sentenced three suspects in the Valkenburg teen prostitution case to one day in prison and community service on Tuesday. One suspect got 240 hours of community service the other two were sentenced to 180 hours, NOS reports. The court convicted all three men of having sex with then 16-year-old Kimberly in a hotel room in Valkenburg in 2014. The judge ruled that the men should have known that she was underage. The public prosecutor demanded prison sentences ranging from 8 months to 1 year against these three suspects. A total of 29 of Kimberley's customers were prosecuted for having sex with a teen prostitute. Two were acquitted. The rest were sentenced to community service and jail time. All the sentences were lower than what the prosecutor demanded. Kimberley's pimp Armin A. was sentenced to 2 years in prison. He was convicted of inciting the girl into prostitution.
