Anti-Terror police units demand better bulletproof equipment

Members of the police's anti-terror units are concerned that their bulletproof equipment is not good enough to stop gunfire from heavy automatic weapons, according to newspaper AD. This is because of a photo of the Paris terrorists attacks which is circulating among members of the Rapid Response Teams. The photo shows the French police's bulletproof shield looking like a sieve after they stormed the terrorists in the Bataclan theater. The Rapid Response Teams are concerned that their equipment will also not hold up to heavy ammunition. The SP asked Minister Ard van der Steur of Security and Justice for clarification.
