Prison demanded: blackmail used to force teen into prostitution

The Public Prosecutor demanded four years in prison, six months of which conditionally suspended, against 26 year old Aroetjoen M. from Zeist in court on Tuesday. M. is suspected of forcing a 16 year old girl from Amersfoort into prostitution by blackmailing her with naked pictures of herself. He is also suspected of human trafficking, domestic violence and incitement to drug trafficking. According to the Prosecutor, M. had hundreds of pornographic pictures of the girl when he was arrested. Between January 2014 and April 2015 he threatened to show these images to her parents if she refused to cooperate. WhatsApp conversations between him and his victim showed that he "forced her, pushed her, checked her and abused her." When the girl was admitted to an institution, he also gave her 20 ecstasy pills to sell, according to the prosecutor. While this was going on, he also kept touch with two ex-girlfriends, whit whom he has four children. These two women also claim that he systematically abused and raped them. The suspect denies all charges. According to him, the girl prostituted herself and gave the money to him willingly.
