Woman injures herself in Amsterdam gun club shooting incident

A 30-year-old women was taken to an area hospital after she was injured in a shooting at a gun club in Amsterdam’s Westerpark district. “It looks as though the victim has injured herself,” police said in a statement. While the extent of her injuries is unknown, authorities say she was still alive when she was taken to hospital. The shooting happened shortly after 3:45 p.m. on Vredenhofweg. An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene along with multiple ground ambulance crews.
