Another Brabant cop arrested for leaking information

The police arrested a 45 year old police officer in Eindhoven on Monday morning. He is suspected of breaking his professional secrecy by leaking official information, the Public Prosecutor announced. Another two men, aged 41 and 53 years old, were also arrested in Eindhoven. They are suspected of firearm possession and inciting a breach of professional secrecy. The relationships between the three suspects are currently under investigation. According to the Public Prosecutor in Oost-Brabant, the preliminary investigation has shown now connection between this case and the 28 year old police officer, Mark M., who was arrested on September 29th, also for leaking information. In contrast to that case, this case does not seem to involve the leak of information from ongoing investigations. All three suspects are in custody and only allowed contact with their lawyers. Their homes are being searched. In the interest of the investigation, the Prosecutor will not release any further information at this time.
