Google Translate app now able to live-translate Dutch

Google has updated its Google Translate app and it is now able to translate Dutch text to English simply by pointing your phone's camera to the text in question. Google announced this on its blog on Wednesday. To use this function you will have to download a small language pack for each language you want to use. Then select the language you want to translate from, click on the camera icon and point it to whatever you want to translate, such as a street sign or a menu or an instruction manual. The text will transform into the other language live on the screen. No internet connection is needed. The app can now live-translate 27 languages to English or the other way around. The languages include Dutch, Filipino, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish and Danish, among others.
