Court frees Hells Angels leader

Lysander de R., the leader of the Hell's Angels Haarlem chapter, was released from custody on Wednesday, two weeks after his arrest. De R. is suspected of violating the Weapons and Ammunition Act and violent crimes. He was brought before the court on Tuesday, where the Public Prosecutor asked that his custody be extended by 90 days, Haarlems Dagblad reports, but the court decided to release him. The Public Prosecutor will appeal against this decision.
