No planes landing at Schiphol: Airport spokesman

Update: Power has now been restored at Schiphol airport and flights have started moving again, according to Interior Minister Ronald Plasterk via Twitter. There are major delays at Schiphol airport due to the massive power outage currently affecting large parts of Noord-Holland and Flevoland, Schiphol spokesperson Jeroen Bos said on Dutch broadcaster NOS. According to Bos, planes aren't able to land and passengers can't check in for their flights. The emergency power generator has kicked in, but the power outage is still affecting operations.

Het vliegverkeer is ernstig ontregeld ivm een stroomstoring in Noord-Holland. Luchthaven draait op noodstroom, maar niet alles werkt.
