Teen girl, 15, rescued in prostitution sting

The police in Rotterdam rescued a 15 year old girl from prostitution on Friday. According to the Public Prosecutor, a 20 year old Rotterdam resident has been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking. Police officers responded to a sex advertisement and made an appointment with a prostitute for a so-called car date, in which the prostitution takes place in the customer's car. The police went to the appointment in an undercover car. When the prostitute got into the police car, the detective noticed that the girl was very young. After investigation the girl turned out to be only 15 years old. The suspect was arrested in his car after a search in the area. The suspect had the girl's "work phone" with him.
