Istanbul cops collar suspects in Dutch underground shooting

Several suspects were arrested in Turkey today in connection with the murder of Vedat Sahin. Sahin was shot and killed in Istanbul on December 24th of last year. The arrests were reported by several Turkish media agencies. The police have arrested 10 suspect. It is unclear what role they may have played in the assassination. The police suspect that several shooters were involved. A number of weapons were seized. Vedat was the younger brother of Sedat Sahin, a known criminal in the Turkish underworld. His funeral took place under great public interest. More than 3 thousand people paid their last respects during the ceremony in Barfa. Ali A., one of the main suspects in the Passage process, was also shot and killed in Istanbul on the same day as Sahin. It is still unclear whether there is a connection between the two murders.
