Groningen experienced yet another earthquake at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning. The area of Loppersum, Groningen felt a 2.7 magnitude quake on Richter scale, according to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI). The epicenter of the earthquake was in the village of Wirdum, however people from the city of Groningen and the Appingedam municipality also reported feeling the quake, RTV Noord reports. A week before, Groningen went through one of the most powerful earthquakes of 2014. 760 damage reports where filed after the quake of 2.8 on the Richter scale, according to the Dutch petroleum company NAM.
