Everyone gets an extra month to file income tax

Next year tax payers will have an extra month to file their income tax. The income tax will only have to be filed by May 1st, instead of April 1st. This was confirmed by a spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance on Sunday, De Telegraaf reports. This postponement is so that as many people as possible can make use of the pre-filled tax return, which is available from March 1st.
