Chainsaw attack lands man, 28, in jail

On Monday the police arrested a 28 year old resident of Emmen for threatening a 35 year old man with a chainsaw. The 35 year old man went to the suspect's home - at the suspect's request - to pick up some things. When he got to the house the suspect would not let him in. When he was finally let in, the suspect started up a chainsaw and swung it in the man's direction. The man was able to dodge the saw and flee from the house. The police later received a report that the suspect threatened a customer with a knife in a cafeteria on Houtweg. The police are investigating the case.
