Arrests for attempted manslaughter in Zwolle

Police have made several arrests in connection with the investigation of a man who fell from an apartment building in Zwolle last week Wednesday.

The 44-year-old man had been shot during a conflict on the eighth floor and was fleeing for safety, when he plunged from the building and landed on the roof of the entrance. He was taken to a hospital but allowed to leave after a short stay there.

Police had initially arrested a 33-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, but they were released over the weekend. Later they also arrested a 47-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Zwolle. The man remains in custody on attempted manslaughter charges, but the woman has been freed.

Police say they are still investigating what lead to the near fatal conflict.
