Few job prospects for new univ. grads

According to the Keuzegids Universiteiten 2015, many new university graduates will find it difficult to find a job. In addition to course descriptions and quality information of the universities, this guide also contains the "job opportunities" up to 2018 per specified study. The information in the guide is based on research by the Research Center for Education and the Labor Market (ROA) in Maastricht. The center relies on both economic and demographic trends, and on the number of students per specialization. The largest surplus occurs in economics, law and business. The prospects for students in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences or engineering, are less unfavorable, but still not good. Students studying electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, dentistry, theology or information science, have the best chance of finding jobs after graduating. According to the guide Wageningen University is best in full time education. The Open University got the best scores for distance learning. Nijmegen came out best in the category of large traditional universities and Eindhoven for the best technical university.
