Stolen SUV crashes into cyclist, seven cars

A car thief wreaked Havoc in Zuid last night with a stolen Range Rover. The police noticed the 18 year old man at around 02:40 am because one of the car's windows was smashed. The thief sped away when he saw the police. During his flight, the suspect crashed into seven other cars. One of these collisions caused the front wheel of the Range Rover to break off. The thief also hit a cyclist on the roundabout on Amstelveenseweg. He finally lost control of the Range Rover in Zeilstraat. The thief still tried to flee, but he was arrested in Vaartstraat. Three cars had to be towed away. Notes were left on the other four cars to inform the owners of what happened.
