Women not hot for Dutch men on holiday

European women do not get heart palpitations at the sight of a Dutch man on holiday. According to research from holiday rating site Zoover, of the 2,000 European respondents, almost 21 percent would prefer an Italian summer lover. Dutch women, on the other hand, would prefer a fling from their own country. Summer loving á lá Netherlands, then, is not on most Europeans' wish list. Only 4.6 percent of European women would like a Dutch man on their arm. German men are right down at the bottom of the desirability scale for European women, however. Of the Dutch female respondents, 29 percent would like a Dutch holiday romance. 17 percent of them wouldn't mind being romanced Italy style, and 16 percent could see Scandinavia as a source of a fling in the summer sun. Like Dutch women, Austrian ladies would also prefer the familiarity of home in their men, at 50 percent. The attracting power of Italians seems to work for both sexes. 20 percent of men would also prefer an Italian girl to wine and dine for the summer. Swedish and Spanish women complete the trifecta of female perfection. Male respondents reacted with more willingness towards the Dutch than females. Almost 11 percent of European men find Dutch women the most attractive.
