Cabbie takes woman wild ride; loses license

A taxi driver in Otterlo lost his way while trying to drive a woman to her destination. After a collision, the cabbie lost his driver's license. The police is saying he may have been driving under the influence of drugs. The 39-year old man from Utrecht drove around for more than two hours with his passenger from Zeist. He lost his way considerably. He was supposed to bring the passenger to Maarn, but the driver himself thought he was meant to go to the Haren in Groningen. Witnesses also saw him zig-zagging across the road. The woman he was transporting said he was driving very chaotically. In Otterlo, the cabbie hit a motorbike rider on a turn. A later police investigation revealed white powder in the car. A blood test will confirm whether the taxi driver did indeed use drugs.
