Trials of exam theft suspects underway

The hearings started today in the the District Court of Rotterdam in the case of the 11 youngsters accused of exam fraud last year at the Ibn Ghaldoun school. The nine young men and two women are charged with of breaking into the school, taking and distributing a total of 27 final examination papers. They copied the papers and sold them for prices ranging from €50 to €250. After the theft went public, all students at the school had to take the final exam for a second time. The trial will last for five days.
