Vitesse files official report with FIFA

Vitesse has decided to turn to the FIFA to officially report that Dan Mori is not allowed into the United Arab Emirates, announced spokeswoman Esther Bal Monday to the NOS.'Both the UAE and Israel are members of the FIFA. In that sense, it is strange that they exclude a player from a soccer training camp in this country," said Bal. Dan Mori / Wikipedia Vitesse is currently in training camp in the UAE. Mori was not allowed to join his team because the UAE does not recognize Israel, the homeland of the defender, as a country. The Arnhem team did not even consider cancelling the trip. 'We are a soccer club, not a political party. Moreover, we have commitments for the games against Wolfsburg and HSV. They count on us to be there. It is unfortunate that we have become part of a political sparring game,' concluded Bal. The situation around Mori already a lot of attention in the Netherlands. The Israeli embassy regrets Vitesse's decision to still travel to the UAE.
