Singing children robbed of candy

For a group of children from Nieuw Vennep St. Maarten turned into a nightmare last night. The children were robbed of their honestly earned candy by four youth. One of the robbers wore a mask. Police officer Ben Haspels tweeted about the case, sarcastically calling the perpetrators "heroes". Out of compassion for the kids, one of his Twitter followers spontaneously offered to drop off a replacement bag of candy at the police station. Haspels appreciated the gesture.
