Another light earthquake Castricum
For the second consecutive day a slight earthquake occurred in the North Holland Castricum coastal town. The KNMI said the quake had a magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale.Earlier, on Tuesday evening an earthquake was observed along the coast of North Holland, which had a magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale, with an epicenter at 7 kilometers from the coast.
In both cases, no damage was reported.
Such quakes are not out of the ordinary in The Netherlands, according to the KNMI, but the location of about 7 kilometers into the sea is a bit unusual.
