State Forest Management gives blessing to forest wedding

Those who would like to get married in a special location can look to the forest, starting next year. • the Boomkroonpad in Drouwen, Drenthe,
  • the Drents-Friese Wold at Appelscha,
  • the Pelen in Limburg Ospel,
  • the Sallandse Heuvelrug at Nijverdal and
  • Weerribben near the village Ossenzijl in Overijssel.
For an amount between 59 and 125 euros per person Trouwstart makes all the arrangements. The idea came from Australia and New Zealand, but it's also done in Central America and France, according to spokesperson Lianne Dalduk. State forest management is satisfied, reports spokesperson Marjet Heins, because especially the many logistical work permits move to the entrepreneur. The nature organization constantly receives requests for activities in the forest, from television recordings to popular wildlife excursions. A marriage among the trees fits in perfectly with the concept that everybody should be able to enjoy nature. State forest management will immediately invest the proceeds in the management of nature, reports Heins.
