UN inspectors in The Netherlands
The UN inspectors who have done research into chemical weapons in Syria have landed at Rotterdam The Hague Airport. They flew in from the Lebanese capital Beirut, in an aircraft made available by the German Government.In the past few days the inspectors collected samples of the suspected poisonous gas attack in Damascus, last week Wednesday. Several labs throughout Europe will study those samples. The research institution TNO in Rijswijk may also study some of the samples.

Wikimedia commons After arrival in The Netherlands the inspectors went to the OPCW headquarters (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) in The Hague. Representatives of the OPCW were also involved in the research in Syria. There are also reports that a van with samples, taken by the inspectors, left for Rijswijk. Except for TNO there is also a OPCW laboratory in Rijswijk.
