Vacancies Further Down
Latest figures by Statistics Netherlands show that there were 91,000 unfilled vacancies at the end of June, the lowest number in ten years.
There is a drop by 6,000 compared to the first quarter, indicating a constant downward trend.
The private sector is mostly responsible for the reduction. The number of vacancies in the public sector, on the other hand, increased.
The most remarkable drop involved commercial services, which went down by 3,000 to 56,000.
