More Dutch Dollar Millionaires

The number of Dutch with a capital of at least $ 1 million (about 760,000 euro) has increased, compared to 2011, by 12.9 percent to 191,000 in the last year. These so-called dollar millionaires account for a combined capital of 396 billion U.S. dollars which amount went up by 8.7 percent. The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) reported that on Monday. The company attributes the increase in the number of millionaires and their invested funds, to the better performance of the equity markets in 2012. The global study on millionaires, that BCG does every year, also shows that in the Netherlands in 2012, 149 households had a capital of more than 100 million dollars. Their combined capacity reaches 52 billion U.S. dollar.
