IBM jobs coming to the Netherlands
Technology and consulting corporation IBM will begin its recruitment in Lille in North-West France and in the Netherland’s northernmost city Groningen, according to Recruiter. IBM announced that 350 technical IT jobs will open in Groningen in the next three years. With its Dutch-language support, the technology centre in Groningen will be able to serve consumers in the country.
The city and province of Groningen and three tertiary educational institutions in the city (Hanze University of Applied Sciences, University of Groningen and the University Medical Center Groningen) will work in partnership for the centre’s development. The centre will provide work for technology graduates and experienced professionals. They will also offer internships and graduate assignments. Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp says the joint venture is an ideal example of how the partnership between the private sector, academic establishments and the government can produce new jobs and generate income. The recruitment process will begin on Wednesday at Hanze University.
