Euro Under-21 Semi-Finals: Spain’s Victory

On Wednesday, Spain defeated the Netherlands (3-0) in a semi-final game for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, bringing them to the top spot in Group B. Spain’s excellent team performance proved too much for the Dutch Team. The Spanish strikers scored three goals. Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid was the first to hit in the 26th minute. Next, Malaga’s Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, popularly known as Isco, scored another goal, leading the team to 2-0. Getafe’s Alvaro Vasquez made the final goal in the 90th minute.
