Police in Utrecht are searching for a man suspected of assaulting two women at separate locations in the city overnight between Thursday and Friday, June 18–19. The attacks occurred between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Potgieterstraat and Leidseveer, both west of the city center.
According to police, the same man is believed to have been involved in both incidents. Authorities released photographs of the suspect and are asking the public for help identifying him. Investigators are also seeking CCTV footage, including from doorbell cameras, security systems, and dashcams, that may have captured the suspect during the time window.
Police describe the suspect as a man between 20 and 40 years old, approximately 1.70 to 1.80 meters tall, with a slim build and "light-tan" complexion. He has short dark brown to black hair and was wearing a gray hoodie or jacket with a hood and black shoulder panels, along with dark pants.
Investigators say he has a distinctive gait, characterized by long strides, and is also identified by a broad head and a few crooked teeth.
