Video: Feyenoord fans caught on camera destroying Bucharest Airbnb
Footage has been circulating on social media of Feyenoord fans destroying an Airbnb in the Romanian capital of Bucharest. The incident occurred around the time that the Rotterdam club played against FCSB in the city.
In the video, you can see a group of men laughing while smashing everything in sight. Furniture was wrecked, the ceiling being ripped apart, and chairs being thrown across the room as the men, some wearing Feyenoord clothing, laughed and shouted foul language.
The footage was posted on X by the account Casual Ultra Official, a channel that often posts violence from football supporters. It was captioned โScum behaviour by some Feyenoord fans in Bucharest last night, who completely demolished an apartment.โ
The police in Bucharest are investigating the footage, RTL Nieuws has reported. Dutch police have also launched an investigation into the incident. At this time, it is not known if any arrests have been carried out, as Romanian authorities have yet to provide additional information.
Feyenoord lost the match in Bucharest 4-3. The clubโs supporters have built up a reputation for violent behavior abroad over the years. A few months ago, the clubโs supporters attacked fans of the English team Aston Villa in Rotterdam before the sides faced each other in the UEFA Europa League.
The club has one more away game remaining in the UEFA Europa League this season. They travel to Seville, Spain, to face Real Betis on January 29.
