Nine new restaurants handed Bib Gourmand for Michelin Guide Netherlands 2025

The 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Netherlands has added nine new Bib Gourmand restaurants, highlighting spots that deliver high-quality food at accessible prices. The MICHELIN Star awards are revealed in Maastricht on October 6.

“Restaurants with a Bib Gourmand have their own philosophy,” said the MICHELIN Guide Netherlands selection director. “It is about generosity, the desire to please guests with genuinely good food, and a sincere commitment to quality at accessible prices. That is a challenge, and I tip my hat to the nine newcomers and all restaurants in the new Bib Gourmand selection.”

The new additions reflect a wide range of cuisines and approaches. Maastricht welcomes two new Bib Gourmand spots: Café Sjiek, a long-standing French restaurant recently under new ownership, and Prix de Rome, known for its creative dishes. In Limburg’s Nuth, Reua Thai offers authentic Thai cuisine.

Along the Zeeland coast, Karel V in Goes combines classic and global dishes in a diverse tasting menu. Café de Gaper in Leiden integrates Eastern spices into traditional dishes. Bistro De Ertepeller in Papendrecht enhances French cuisine with North African influences.

In Noord-Brabant, NEV in Eindhoven serves a playful take on Turkish dishes, while Avenue43 in Oss and Petite in Sint-Oedenrode offer "unique interpretations of familiar flavors."
