Marjolein Faber to press charges for photo of her with Hitler mustache at demonstration

The Minister of Asylum and Migration, Marjolein Faber, is going to file a report to the police because demonstrators carried a photo of her with a Hitler-style mustache last weekend. A spokesperson for Faber confirmed this after it had been reported by De Telegraaf.

Faber wrote on X that a comparison to Hitler is over the line. “It is unacceptable to illustrate differences in opinion in this way.” She considers this to be “libel and slander,” and that is why she is pressing charges.

Demonstrations against racism and fascism were held in Amsterdam last weekend. Around 10,000 people were estimated to have been there. Demonstrators wore signs saying “Never Again” and “Feit of Faber?” Which is translated to fact or Faber.

The protest went calmly, and no arrests were made. Although, pro-Palestinian demonstrators did chant that “zio’s,” another word for zionists, need to be thrown into the canals.

PVV leader Geert Wilders thinks it is “completely justified” that Faber is filing a report. He wrote on X that the demonstration was “full of sympathy for Hamas, throwing zionists in the canal, a sign with a nazi tombstone for me, and Faber with a Hitler mustache.”
