Four Colombians arrested during cocaine lab bust in The Hague

Authorities uncovered a drug lab inside a residential home in The Hague on Monday night, leading to the arrest of four Colombian suspects. The lab contained 80 kilograms of cocaine and multiple barrels of chemicals used for drug production, police reports.

Officers from the Infrastructure Service of the National Unit for Expertise and Operations noticed a vehicle with German license plates traveling on the A4 toward The Hague. Suspicious of possible drug trafficking, they decided to follow the car.

The driver stopped in The Hague, where another individual approached the vehicle. Upon inspection, officers discovered a block of cocaine inside the car and arrested two men, aged 48 and 49, from the Dominican Republic.

Further investigation led authorities to a nearby residence on Lannoystraat. Upon entering the home, police found narcotics and liquid substances stored in multiple rooms. The Landelijk Team Forensische Opsporing was called to the scene and confirmed the presence of 80 kilograms of cocaine in blocks, as well as several barrels containing chemicals used in drug manufacturing.

Two additional suspects, men aged 26 and 32 from Colombia, were found inside the home and taken into custody. Law enforcement seized all drugs and substances on site before safely disposing of them.
