Rotterdam police receive dozens of tips about man accused of sexual assaulting six women

The Rotterdam police have received dozens of tips regarding a man who has sexually assaulted six women in the city center and in Rotterdam-Noord. Police shared clear photos of the suspect on Thursday. The case was also profiled on a crime program broadcast on Rotterdam’s local television station on the same day.

A police spokesperson could not say whether any of the tips contained useful information. "The tips are now being checked." Six women have reported a sexual assault from thus far. Three of these are also going to press charges. It is suspected that the man was responsible for all of these.

The images shared show that the man, estimated to be between 25 and 40 years old, has dark hair, a mustache and beard and travels by bicycle.

“Any tips are still welcome,” said the spokesperson for the police. Women have been warned to be extra alert in Rotterdam as the victim was a women in all six cases.
