Eindhoven Airport sees a decline in passenger numbers in 2024

Eindhoven Airport welcomed nearly 6.8 million passengers in 2024, a slight decrease of approximately 15,000 compared to the record-breaking year of 2023, according to airport officials. The number of takeoffs and landings also fell slightly, from 41,496 in 2023 to 40,826 in 2024.

Despite the slight overall decline, May 2024 marked the busiest month in the airport’s history, with 680,953 passengers passing through its terminals. The single busiest day was May 12, when the airport processed 24,853 travelers, surpassing the busiest days recorded in both 2023 and 2022.

The permitted total of "flight movements" remained unchanged at 41,500, but some scheduled flights could not be operated. Transavia, one of the airlines operating at Eindhoven, faced technical issues and staffing shortages that forced it to return some of its slots.

The top travel destinations from Eindhoven Airport remained unchanged, with London, Málaga, and Alicante continuing to attract the most passengers.
