Child sex abuse videos found on two clients of forensic psychiatric clinic
Child sex abuse videos belonging to two clients of a forensic psychiatric clinic in Drenthe have been found. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice and Safety confirmed the initial report from De Telegraaf.
A check revealed that a client had "possibly criminal images that the police could link to child sex abuse.” The police were then called, and a police investigation is now underway.
An internal investigation was also started by an independent agency. Items belonging to clients were taken in for this. Criminal footage was also found, which is also presumed to be child sex abuse videos here. The second finding can be linked to a second client, said a spokesperson.
The footage has been handed over to the police for further investigation. De Telegraaf wrote that several employees told the paper about a sort of network in which clients exchanged criminal material. The spokesperson's response to this was that they were waiting for the result of the investigation.
