Thuisbezorgd to start delivering sex toys in Groningen & The Hague

Customers of food delivery company Thuisbezorgd in Groningen and The Hague will be able to order condoms, lube, and sex toys from Wednesday. Thuisbezorgd has started a partnership with sex toy company EasyToys. Customers have to be 18 years or older to have the products delivered.

The orders are “discretely packaged,” according to Thuisbezorgd. If the deliverer finds himself in front of a closed door, then the products are returned to the store.

For the time being, orders are only possible in Groningen and The Hague. EasyToys recently opened physical stores in these cities. Both companies do not rule out an expansion of services in the future if the number of EasyToys branches grows.

“Our products are just as accessible as a pizza or a poke bowl,” said Dave van den Bos, the head of EasyToys in the Benelux. “Customers in The Hague and Groningen can have a large share of our products in their home within an hour.”

Thuisbezorgd’s sales director, Bart Koot, is happy with the new offering. “In addition to sex toys as a gift for yourself or somebody else, it is also very useful and safe to have condoms delivered at the last moment.”

Just Eat Takeaway, the parent company of Thuisbezorgd, announced in September that they were partnering with sex toy manufacturing company Lovehoney. This made it possible for people in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany, and Austria to order sex items.
