Police release blurred photos of suspects wanted for public violence in Amsterdam riots

On Tuesday evening, the police released blurred photos of five people wanted for public violence during the riots in Amsterdam following the Ajax-Maccabi Tel Aviv match on Thursday and Friday. The police have 29 suspects in view. These first five “committed the most serious violence.”

The police gave the five suspects until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 15, to turn themselves in. If they fail to do so, the police will release recognizable photos of them.

Investigators also asked anyone who may recognize the suspects to contact them. The blurred photos of the other suspects will be released in the coming period.

“The investigation team is still busy collecting and analyzing images, so more people may be added,” the police said. “If you were involved in these violent incidents, please report yourself to prevent it from being made public.”
